So, I’d like to take a few minutes to remind everyone why every single person that comes to Barcelona falls in love with it, why so many people come for a visit and never leave again and why millions of tourists keep coming back, year after year.

I’ve lost count of the number of times my boyfriend has tried to get me interested in football. I’ve spent many a Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon (Sunday if it’s a bank holiday), sat in front of the television, being forced to watch teams that nobody in the room supports, all for the love of the sport, and I’m yet to see the fascination! But, I have to admit, that for one magical evening last month, my resolve was swayed as F.C. Barcelona took to the field in the Champions League Final.
