Recentlywe organized an Easter charity event in conjunction with an online international social network called Internations. The chosen charity is aimed at helping deprived children in and around Barcelona. The event took place at Incognito Bar in Barcelona.
The charity called Aldees Infantils SOS Villages focus on aiding children around the world who have been abused, lost their parents or who have parents that are unable to look after them. The SOS Villages are particularly required for children with more than one sibling and the objective is to keep siblings together and help them through their formative years to rebuild their lives. The Villages secure the proper care for the siblings and place them with new parents living together at the SOS Village area. Fundamentally the aim is to reunite the children with their biological parents wherever possible.
We organized a special stand with the information brochures and leaflets about Aldees Infantils SOS Villages as well as donation box. Everyone was more than welcome to participate in the donation lottery regardless of the quantity which I think was a nice touch and encouraged more participation. As an official sponsor of the event we donated special activity prizes for the lucky winners - 1st prize - Scooter tour, 2nd Bridge Jump, and 3rd an Arab baths experience.
The charity event was set during the social networking evening, which was a great chance to meet interesting foreign people living in Barcelona, and I have to admit that I really had a good time! People talked, laughed, drank and had fun, but did not miss the charity cause! Everyone generously helped the children and we are happy that we could
contribute to this!
Of course we can’t help all of the children, but at least some of them…We shouldn’t forget how many children are still out there that need our help! We will organize more events like this in the future, so we are looking forward to seeing you there!
Last week was a very tough week in the office and we worked even harder at the weekend… yes we were as usual testing out some of the newest and most exciting experiences for you to enjoy in Barcelona…. It’s a tough job and we thank you for your sympathy!!

The last time I faced my fear of heights was about 3 years ago when I was driven up along the Costa Brava by a friend to take part in what I was lead to believe was a fun initiation class into Scuba Diving!
Dressed in flip flops and a summer dress I had mentally prepared myself to meet with the deep sea world for the first time. I was a little anxious and tried a few times to back out en route but after driving 1.5 hours and on arrival at our destination my fears and anxiety quadrupled when I discovered that my friend had played an awful trick on me and I was actually booked to do a SKYDIVE…………..!!!

Last month we had the pleasure of welcoming Disney ABC Networks to Barcelona for a 3 day International Leadership Summit. The 70 strong team included the president and the vice president plus top executives from all around the world.
The event took some organising and it was made even more challenging as the group was split into smaller teams each with different directives to experience throughout various parts of Barcelona. In total we used 17 different experience partners for this activity, since we have a network of over 120 tried and reputable partners in Catalunya, we were able to offer Disney only the best!
