I really love shopping in Barcelona, especially when I have the possibility to shop with big discount. Because the sales just started (from mid June to the end of August), I thought it would be nice to point you to the best shopping areas of Barcelona.
The Portal de l’Àngel is one of the main shopping areas of Barcelona, just off Placa de Catalunya. Here, you can find most of the popular stores like Zara, Mango, H&M, Bershka and Desiqual. At the end of this street, you will walk into the beautiful La Seu Cathedral.
Passeig de Gracia is a very famous shopping street with much variation in its offer of shops. You have many exclusive and expensive stores but there are also lots of more affordable, popular stores. If you want to take a shopping break, you can have a pause at one of the cozy restaurants in the street.
Clothes and complements shopping is a real pleasure in El Raval thanks to all the authentic, little boutiques and vintage shops you can find in this unique area on the left side of Las Ramblas. If you want to buy something original, you certainly have to visit this area.
El Bulevard Rosa is a lovely indoor arcade located in the area of Passeig de Gracia with more than 100 shops. The indoor arcade is specialized in charming boutique, antique and multitude shops. Most of the shops sell furnishings, paintings and decorative items. I know for sure you can find a beautiful souvenir to bring home.
You need some shoes? Carrer de Pelei is the street for you; this shopping street is full of shoe stores, but you can also find other shops. I recommend going to the biggest perfumery located in the city of Barcelona: Sephora.
Avinguda Diagonal is the place to be if you are looking for international fashion. The more expensive shops are located in this street, such as Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace and Gucci.
El Born is the place to be for vintage shopping, with the many charming, little boutiques and unique
shops, you certainly can find something special to take home. Although this is a great shopping area, the real gems tend to be hidden down the small streets which you’ll stumble across when you are the least expecting.
The Centre Comercial Maremàgnum, Les Glóries, Diagonal Mar and La Maquinista are large indoor shopping centers. These centers can promise a long-lasting shopping pleasure with its big offer of popular shops. Going here is a great alternative on a cloudy or rainy day in the city of Barcelona, with lots of bars, restaurants and even a cinemas, you won´t get bored!
